The Crofters Hotel is the ideal destination for wedding receptions, civil ceremonies, conferences, parties, product launches and other business uses.

Situated between the cities of Lancaster and Preston, the hotel is able to cater for groups between 10-200 guests in its various function rooms. Tastefully decorated and with excellent facilities, each room lends itself to a different purpose, whether that be a traditional wedding reception, civil ceremony or even a birthday celebration. We offer excellent food and service to ensure your event is an occasion to remember.

Weddings

Our Ballroom function room is the perfect setting for a wedding reception with its large, versatile layout, multipurpose dancefloor and decorative interior. We are able to dress each function room with balloons, banners, table flowers, and can even cater to a particular theme, depending on your preferences. The adjoining bar room serves a wide range of drinks and provides seating areas for up to 60 people. There is also an outdoor area, which is used as a backdrop for photographs. Parties and Celebrations

Our Ballroom is equally suited for large parties, such as Christmas celebrations, birthdays or engagement parties. We are also able to cater for celebrations with fewer guests in our smaller function rooms.

Civil Ceremonies

The Crofters Hotel is officially licensed to hold Civil Wedding Ceremonies and, as you would expect, our high levels of service ensure all involved will enjoy the event.

Sikh Weddings

The hotel also has experience in catering for Sikh weddings and is largely unique in the area to offer this service. We are happy to discuss any arrangements that you may have. Please contact us for further information.

Dancing

Our Ballroom also hosts line and sequence dancing nights on a regular basis, although the room is versatile enough to hold most types of events. Please contact us if you wish to enquire about hiring a function room for a specific purpose as we can accommodate a wide range of functions.

For smaller events…

The Crofters Hotel can provide smaller function rooms for various purposes, including small parties, seminars, boardroom meetings, training workshops and other gatherings. A service of food and drinks in all our available rooms ensure guests remain well fed and refreshed!
